For more than 30 years, the PMI Educational Foundation, or PMIEF, has helped put youth on the path to success by incorporating project management tools and techniques into their daily lives. The goal of the foundation is to forge partnerships with nonprofit organizations that support and prepare rising leaders for success by offering our project management expertise, resources, and volunteer support to help them in their missions.

This award recognises teams who have learned and demonstrated their ability to apply project management throughout the lifecycle of their project. It recognises excellence in project management practices including superior planning, organisation, innovation, execution and positive impacts on society.
